Rita Karjalainen

Rita Concetta (Diodato) Karjalainen, 92 years old of Orange Park FL passed away on Tuesday, November 16^th, 2021. Rita was born on December 2^nd, 1928, in Naples, Italy. One of nine children.

The daughter of Maria Diodato and Salvatore Diodato. On April 7^th, 1960, she married Robert Karjalainen in Naples, Italy where they enjoyed their time as a newly wedded couple. 4 years later they had their son Robert in Rode Island (US) and 3 years after that they had their daughter Annamaria in Iceland.

Rita loved to sew and cook. Cooking and sewing were her favorite pastimes. She continued to share her hobbies with her children and grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her loving husband, Robert; two children, Robert and Annamaria and two grandchildren, Sidney and Charlotte. They will continue to keep her memory alive.
