Robert Earl Kell, 76, of Green Cove Springs, Florida passed away on March 13, 2021. He was born to Harry and Ruth Kell on March 3, 1945 in Paducah, KY
Robert graduated from Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1963. During his high school years, he was known by his peers as an outstanding football and baseball player. His career began with the U.S. Navy where he was awarded the Bronze star. After his Navy service he traveled the world then settled in St. Petersburg, FL where he met and married the love of his life, Karin on June 6, 1987. He later relocated to Mobile, Alabama, obtained his bachelor’s degree and continued his career with the U.S. Department of Commerce until he retired. His hobbies included travel, going to restaurants, carving goose eggs, and he loved playing golf with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Karin and parents, Harry and Ruth Kell. He is survived by his son, Robert Fulton (Janet); granddaughter, Olivia Fulton; brother George (Rhonda); sisters Carolyn Biggs (Bruce), Barbara McElroy, Nancy Therrell (Wayne), Patti Craig (Randy); nieces and nephews, Christina Gaylord, James Biggs (Erin), Lauren Sykes (Nate), Zach Therrell (Carmen), two great nieces and one great nephew. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Memorial service and internment April 2, 2021 at 1:30 PM - Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL.
