Robert "Bert" Anderson Metcalf was born on December 30, 1971, on his father's thirtieth birthday. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in St. Augustine, FL, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Bert was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Metcalf, and his stepmother, Linda Smith. He is survived by his father, Dan Metcalf; his sister and brother-in-law, Allison and Eric Manes; his stepsister and brother-in-law, Whitney and Brad Woods; along with his nephews and nieces, Jim and Lassiter Denton, Bo and Taylor Denton, Beck Manes, Talan McMahan, Alex Chambers, and Arin Chambers, as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews. He also leaves behind his significant other, Bridget Casey. The family will hold a gathering and memorial at their downtown property at 249 E. Broadway, Newport, TN, on Sunday, March 30, at 4:00 p.m.
