Robert Nathan Miller

August 12, 1960 — August 29, 2020

After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Robert Nathan Miller lost the only fight he’s ever lost in Orange Park, Fl on August 29th, 2020 at the age of 60. He passed away peacefully after privately fighting lung cancer since April 2019. Robert was born on August 12th, 1960 to William D. and Martha Miller in West Palm Beach, Florida. He grew up in a loving family with 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister. After graduating from Orange Park High School, he found his life’s passion building planetariums all across the world. Bobby’s legacy has been passed down to his son, Robert Nathan Miller II who continues to build planetariums for Spitz Inc. worldwide.

Even when Bobby was diagnosed with cancer, he always put his family first. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rose Miller and his 4 children—Amber Rose Miller, Robert Nathan Miller II, Nathan Levi Kronewitter and Niccole Marie Colthorp. Bobby is also survived by his father, William D. Miller, his 2 older brothers, Steve Miller and David Miller, along with his younger sister, Carol Miller. Lastly, Bobby adored every moment he had with his grandchildren, Lucas Michael Miller and Madalynn Grace Miller.

Bobby had many hobbies, but one of the most important passions was working on classic cars, which included his 2nd love, a 1975 Corvette. Other interests included, going to the beach, playing pool with a vodka-cranberry in hand, while listening to rock and roll, and making grand memories with his family. Bobby and his wife, Rose worked closely with one another building planetariums before starting their family. With his best friend, Damon Boatwright they worked together as stagehands for the band Easy Street in 1979.

Bobby remained dedicated to his work and his will to fight his illness. He remained a devout Christian and a source of positive strength to his family even throughout his final months.

Bobby requested to be cremated and we will hold a service to celebrate Bobby’s life at a later date.
