Robert “Woody” Woodworth

May 10, 1932 – November 30, 2020

Woody passed away November 30, 2020 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 88.

He was born to George Robert and Josephine Woodworth on May 10, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Woody served in the US Marines July 23, 1954 until February 14, 1956.

He was self employed as a carpenter and retired in 1984.

Woody became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on May 16, 1968 when he joined Phenix, Alabama Lodge #1876.  He was a member of Dixie Moose Legion #115. He received his Fellowship degree of honor on June 25, 1974 and his Pilgrim degree of merit on June 1, 1984.  He was a past governor on February 8, 1996 and a member of the 25 Club.  Woody sponsored 139 members in his lifetime.

He came to Moosehaven on May 13, 2013 where he resided for 7 years.

He is survived by his sister Karen Wares of Brooklyn, NY and brother, Joe Scarpoci of Georgia.
