Roger D. Trescott

Roger D. Trescott, 68, died suddenly on June 11, 2020, at his home in Palm Coast, FL. Roger was born on January 9, 1952 in Rochester, NY, to Donald and Eleanor (Wood) Trescott. He graduated from Livonia Central High School with the class of 1970 and shortly thereafter entered the U.S. Navy. After serving his country for 22 years he retired as an Aviation Fire Control Technician Senior Chief. He then went on to complete his working career as a Logistics Specialist with a government contractor. Roger enjoyed playing golf, and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan watching every game they played, he also was a big fan of the Washington Capitals. He and his wife and their dog Olive enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home visiting family and friends but most of all Roger enjoyed spending time with “his girls.”

Roger is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy, and his daughters Alyson and Adrienne both of Jacksonville, FL, his mother Eleanor of Livonia and two sisters and four brothers, Jane (Greg) Safran, Avon, Judy (Bob) Kelly, Livonia, Glen, Livonia, James (Elaine), Rush, Gary (Christine), Scottsville, and Scott (Delana), Prattsburg, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Trescott, his paternal grandparents Harry and Ruth Trescott, his maternal grandparents William and Marion Wood and aunts and uncles. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
