Ronald W. Horn

Ronald W Horn, 90, of Middleburg, FL passed away on August 7, 2023. Ronald was born to Baumann Horn & Margaret Lincoln on March 13, 1933 in Nashville, TN. He graduated from Broadview Academy in Springfield, IL, served during the Korean War, played minor league baseball, worked for White Consolidated and AnchorLithChemco as well as owning the Aamco Transmission Company in Orange Park. Ronald was married to Barbara Gray.

His hobbies included sports, golf, gem mining and jewelry making. He will be remembered as a well-respected man who loved his family. During his younger years in the minor league he pitched to Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and William McCovey.

Ronald is preceded in death by, Barbara Gray (wife) and Laurie McCord (daughter). He is survived by Dale Horn (Susan) Middleburg, FL, Bill Gray (Peggy) Lynchburg TN, and Suzanne Gray (daughter) The Villages, FL, 7 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral/Memorial services will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating. A visitation will take place from 10:00am until service time. Interment will follow the service at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery
