Ronnie Milton

Ronnie Lee Milton, aged 77, went with God on the morning of Sunday, 1 December 2024. Born to parents Vardaman and Willy Louise in Harlington Texas, he grew up in a large family alongside his twin sister, Connie Leigh. Ronnie graduated from the University of North Florida with a business degree and served our country in Vietnam, enlisted with the Navy. In later adulthood, he was an admired nursing home administrator. He will be remembered for his loyalty and dedication to his family, friends, and neighbors. He will also be remembered for his spirit and passion in all things. Of all his interests, he loved sports including tennis, golf, softball, and of course football, which he played in high school. He volunteered much of his time coaching his girls’ youth softball team, the Lady Pirates, instilling a love of athletics in the girls.

He is survived by his beautiful and devoted wife, Susann, married over 50 years. The couple had two amazing daughters, Andrea (Heather) and Christina. Ronnie was grandad to Coleman James (Azarae). His great grandchild will be born this July. His memorial service will take place in the spring, for now, he will spend the holidays with his family. A mass of remembrance will be dedicated at his church, Sacred Heart of Fleming Island.
