Sandra Faye Judy

Sandra Faye Judy, 73 years old, of Fleming Island, FL passed away at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL on Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was born on May 3, 1946 in Cherokee, Iowa to Ina May Clauser and Wilson Judy.   She was living in Fleming Island for the last few years, prior to that she resided in Akron, Ohio for 30+ years and left many good friends there. 

Sandra graduated from Mifflin High School in Columbus, Ohio, received her BS from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and Masters degree in Social Work from Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio. She worked in Child Protective Services both in Utah and Ohio. She retired from Summit County Child Protective Service in 2020.  She enjoyed traveling, computer games and especially doing Family History work. She was always willing to help others with doing their Family History as well as helping others in general. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother in 1980 and her father in 1996. She is survived by her brother, Michael Judy (OH); sisters, Sherry Judy (OH) and Janis Judy Morehead (FL); nieces, Monique Judy (OH), Vanessa Judy-Sember (OH) and grandniece and grandnephews.

There will not be a service because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Donations to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org) , Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org), or Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) would be greatly appreciated.
