Sharon Elaine Pound

Sharon Elaine Pound nee Rush, 78, Orange Park, Florida passed away February 19, 2025.

Born to parents Phillip and Wilhelmina Rush in Bangor, Maine. Served honorably in the US Army. A lady of simple pleasures enjoyed her family, reading and puzzles. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, her pride in being a veteran and her love of family. She never met a stranger and enjoyed helping those in need. She is survived by her son, William M Cook, daughter-in-law Lynne Cook, daughter Martha J Edge, her 7 grandchildren, Allison Blackston, Katherine Malott, Lewis Malott, Andrew Malott, Rebecca Cook, Jason Cook and Victoria Olmsted-Cook, and her 10 great-grandchildren, brother and 4 sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Pound, her daughter, Mary C Malott, her brother and two sisters. A memorial will be held via Zoom Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 4pm EST for her family and friends around the country.
