Sharon Elizabeth Ventress

Sharon Elizabeth Ventress, age 74, passed away on February 21, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1950 in Atlanta, GA.

Sharon loved to go to the Senior Citizens Building and she loved her church at Congregational Holiness on Route 16. She liked fishing and going to the beach. Sharon will be remembered for her kindness. She had the best personality and a loving heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Joann (Greer) Maxwell; brother, David Maxwell; sister, Brenda Sutherland and grandbaby, Anna Gillyard.

Sharon was survived by her kids, Scotty James; grandbabies, Quintina Jones, Scotty James II and Savannah Gillyard (Lyle); brother, Ricky Maxwell (Judy); sisters, Frankie S. Rice (Tracy), Belinda G. Rewis and Teresa A. Ashworth; nephews, Joseph Freeman, Waylin Rice, Lee Rewis and David Maxwell II; nieces, Carla Rice, Elizabeth Ashworth, Catherine Ashworth, Sabrina Ashworth, Megan Rewis and Rachel Maxwell; along with best friends, Linda Ratliff, Rhonda Crandall and Serena Jackson.
