Shelby Raines

April 23, 1938 — September 12, 2023

Beloved mother of James (Dr. Sherry Latta-Raines, grandson, James Avery) and Teresa Gray (Jeff, grandchildren Marcus, Melissa & Michael) entered eternal rest on September 12, 2023.

A loving, caring soul with a heart of gold, Shelby owned her own beauty shop in Columbus, Georgia before moving to Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Lee James in 1992.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the VHL Alliance in honor of her grandson, Avery, who lives with VHL diagnosis.
