Shirley Mann

Shirley Mann, 79, passed away passed away peacefully at her home on June 1, 2024.

She was born November 13, 1944 in Camden, NJ to Richard P. and Ruth E. Henry. Shirley was a Hair Stylist and Cosmetologist for over 20 years and owner of her own Salon during several years in her joyous career. One of the most loving and caring people you will ever meet and adored her family immensely placing them first before anything else her entire life.

As a military wife for over 45 years, she traveled (and moved often).  She thrived and appreciated meeting new friends and neighbors from Jacksonville, FL to San Francisco, CA to Atsugi Japan for a two-year tour.  During these times, family always came first.  This beautiful woman enjoyed visiting several countries including Japan, Korea, Singapore, and the people of the Pacific theater even traveling to Alaska and Hawaii.  She always made the most of life and made lifelong friends at every stop.  When not touring as a military wife, at every opportunity, she enjoyed cruises and outings, parties and all activities as long as they included her loving children and grandchildren.  Super active and super fun!!!

She is survived by her husband: John T. Mann; Sons: Richard Warmack, Christopher Mann; Daughters: Kimberley Butler, Tina Runnel; Grandchildren: Joseph Acosta, Taylor White, Zachary Mann, Johnny Butler, Aubrey Lowe, Hannah Runnels, Jonah Runnels, Lleyton Warmack, Elin Warmack; Greatgrandchildren: Malia Lowe, Neo Wetherby, Josey Wetherby, Isaac Lowe; Siblings: Richard (Dick) Henry, Edward Henry, John Henry, Elaine Avant, Elvina (Vie) Bowman, Robin Barrowclough.

My wife’s body may have finally given out but her soul and spirit lives on and gives my entire family the warm knowledge she is watching and guarding over us every sec, minute and hour of every day of our lives.  She will always live in our hearts and remains the driving force of our souls as she has always been the guiding model of our family.  She is the perfect model of the best, most beloved Wife, Mother, Grandma and Nana.
