Stephen Wesley McCarty

Stephen Wesley McCarty, 78, of Middleburg died on Saturday, June 22, 2024

He was born on October 2, 1945, in Edina Missouri. On May 29, 1964, he married the love of his life, Carol Lee Edlen in Luray, Missouri.

Spending time with his family was his favorite pastime. He loved Nascar and had an extensive collection of die cast cars he displayed in his home. He completed many home improvement projects, finishing his most recent project just days before his death.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Levi and Margaret McCarty, sister, Melinda.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol McCarty of Middleburg, son, Milton (Starla) McCarty of Oviedo, Fl, daughter, Stephenie (Jimmy) Anastassiadis of Middleburg, FL. Grandsons, George, James, and Stephen Anastassiadis, Ian McCarty, Granddaughter, Mary Anastassiadis.
