Steven Anthony Foster

Steven Anthony Foster,46, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his two kids and their mother Katie. 

Steven was born on August 17, 1976, in Jacksonville, Florida.  He resided in Jacksonville up until he was an adult and then relocated to Iowa with Katie and the children.   After living in Iowa for several years he was diagnosed with a severe medical condition which led the family to move back to Florida.   

Steven will be remembered for his passionate love of family.  He lived his life with gratitude, grittiness, laughter, love, and passion.  He was a Mason by trade and took pride in his work.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, finding treasures with his metal detector, and watching the Jaguar games.  More than anything he loved being a Papa to his granddaughter, Kynlee. He will be loved and missed greatly by all. 

Steven is survived by his loving children, Kaylee and Izak Foster, their mother Katie Tague; granddaughter: Kynlee Favino; Sisters: Tina, Tanya, Ciara, Brandy, Abby, and Samantha; Brothers: Chris and Todd; Sister-in-law: Jessica (Cory) Drew; Brother-in-law: Gary Tague.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  

The family will receive friends from 10:30am -11:00am on Monday, February 27, 2023, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel and funeral services will began at 11:00am.   We ask that you wear blue in honor of his favorite color.
