Tammy H. Moyers

Tammy H. Moyers of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on January 30, 2021.  Tammy was born to Billy and Phyllis Hicks on January 6, 1964 in Green Cove Springs, FL.  She married Keith Moyers in 1986 (divorced).  Their children are Tanya Mitchell, Erica Moyers, and Jacob Moyers. 

Tammy had a passion for teaching children about missions, working with youth within her church in instilling passion for national and international mission fields, including projects servicing and teaching about world hunger and local foster care/adoption services.  In addition, she was a devoted mother, helping her children achieve any goals they wanted to achieve.  She also worked as an accountant for the American Culinary Federation (ACF) more than ten years. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Hicks, and her brother, Danny Hicks.

She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Hicks, as well as her brothers, Micheal Hicks (Candy), Keith Hicks (Carol), Daryl Hicks (Lori), and sister in law, Tracy Hicks. 

She is also survived by her two daughters, Tanya Mitchell (David) and Erica Moyers, as well as her son, Jacob Moyers.  In addition, she is survived by 4 grandchildren, Garrett, Gregory, Micah, and Kelsey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Russell Franklin officiating.  The graveside service will follow with Brother Bill Clayton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shriners Children’s Hospital to assist other children in getting the help that they need for specialty needs, as they did for her daughter Erica Moyers.
