Thomas “Tommy” Gregory Brown

Passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 59 years old. He was born in Pensacola, Florida Escambia County to Richard Brown and Edwina Grantham on February 26, 1963.

Our family moved to Jacksonville for a short time then moved to Green Cove Springs where he remained for the rest of his life. Tommy went to Clay High school with many friends. His employment consisted of working on a horse farm and metal construction with J.M. Builders. Tommy’s favorite activities were fishing, shrimping, watching Netflix and listening to music. Tommy was sort of a trickster, loved doing firework battles with neighbors along with sparklers with the family kids.

He was preceded in death by his mother; father; brother, Kenneth Wayne Brown and wife, Jennifer Brown. He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Phillip Dennis (Judy) and David Leon Brown (Cindy); one sister, Melanie J. Brown-Smith; three nephews, Christopher DeWayne Brown, Richard David Brown and Jacob Roscoe Smith; two nieces, Jennifer Brown Hubbard and Kristal Linnea Brown; one stepbrother, Rodney Allen Smart; one stepsister, Robin Lyn Lewis along with many loving cousins.

A visitation to celebrate his life will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel.
