Timothy J. Large

Timothy J. Large, 51 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away October 12, 2017.  He was born on April 18, 1966 in Niskayuna, NY. Tim spent 23 years serving his country in the United States Navy.  After his retirement he went to work for the Federal Government as a federal employee.  He enjoyed motocross racing, running, and spending time with his family.  When spending time with his family and friends he enjoyed having dessert, particularly ice cream and Publix cake.  Anyone who knew Tim knows how much he loved his desserts.  His love for ice cream earned him the nick name of “Two Scoops.”  He loved a good nick name too.  You knew he liked you if he gave you a nick name.    Tim is preceded in death by his parents James and Elizabeth Large, sister-in-law Roberta Large, and brother-in-law Daniel Steger.  Tim is survived by his wife Renee Large, daughter Cassidy Large, son DJ Large, step-daughter Regan Deel, brother Rich Large, niece Danielle Large, nephew James Large and nephew Christopher Large.   Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Robert Caudel officiating with full Military Honors.  Information regarding the reception will be given out at a later date.
