Timothy Scott Schultz, Sr.

Timothy Scott Schultz, Sr., better known as Tim Schultz, Papa, or Pops, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 30, 2022 at his residence. He has left behind a heck of a lot of stuff—all of which his beloved wife and sons have no idea what to do with. If you're looking for car parts, any tool known to man, a herd of goats, or receipts from 20 years ago, please give us a reasonable amount of time. 

Relax, this isn't a sales pitch. This is an obituary for an exceptional man, loving committed husband, dedicated father, and amazing grandfather (Papa), who was born on January 15, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the son of Samuel Schultz and Kathleen Wilkinson and a master of all trades. Pops was very strong willed, hardworking, and determined. There was nothing in this world he couldn't build or fix, even if it meant ripping it apart, cussing it, and watching a YouTube tutorial. Nothing stood in his way!

Pops' motto in life was “work hard, play harder”, and he did just that. His home away from home was the woods, the creek, the springs, and the river since childhood. His favorite activities were camping, fishing, canoeing, and just being with and spending time with his family. 

Even though Pops often preferred animals over people, he had a huge heart and would do anything for anybody, ESPECIALLY HIS FAMILY!!! His ability to make anyone laugh no matter the situation could brighten the darkest day. His jokes, smile, and laugh could change any mood instantly. 

Pops was an admirable man, husband, father, father-in-law, and Papa. He was and will forever be loved dearly. He is painfully missed and survived by his loving wife Kimberly Schultz; adoring sons Timothy Schultz, Jr., Mathew Permenter, and David Permenter; daughters-in-law Samantha Schultz, Maria Barrios, and Kourtney Swain; and his cherished babies (his grandchildren) Timothy Schultz, Jr., Roxanne Schultz, Julia Schultz, and Sophia Schultz.
