Vernon "Mike" Holland, Jr.

Vernon “Mike” Holland, Jr. 62, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  Mike was born in Little Rock Arkansas on November 9, 1960 to Vernon and Betty Holland.  He graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport Louisiana in 1978.  He was employed by Darsco Plumbing Supply for many years.  

His hobbies included fishing and spending time with loved ones who enjoyed sharing the results of his barbecue and grilling skills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Betty Holland.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Jerri; his daughter, Hannah Farrell (Thomas); stepsons, Clayton Fowler, Jason Dinkins (Marissa), Justin Dinkins; grandson, Greg Dinkins; sisters, Debbie Hill (Ed), Lynne Robert, Terri Mead (Chris), Melinda Dotson (DJ) and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a short memorial service at Faith Baptist Church located at 4330 County Road 15A, Green Cove Springs, Florida on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Joe Sobotta presiding.  Food and fellowship to follow at the church.
