Violet passed away August 19, 2018 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 87.
She was born to Frank and Edith Mann on February 24, 1931 in Evanston, IL.
She was an adventurous free spirit with fiery red hair. She loved the water and enjoyed many of her younger days basking in the sun with her sisters on Lake Michigan. She loved swimming, boating, and dancing. She once shared a dance with Johnny Cash and could cut a rug with the best of them.
Violet met her husband Clyde Infinger at a café. Clyde fell in love with her the moment he saw her. They dated 2 shorts months before Violet and her best girlfriend eloped to Kentucky on July 30,1949, with their future husbands. Violet had a daughter and son. She had a wonderful marriage and was very active in her children’s lives. Her husband Clyde preceded her in death on March 30, 1991.
She became affiliated with the Women of the Moose on January 07, 1987 when she joined Cape Coral, FL Chapter #815.
Violet came to Moosehaven on March 01, 2011where she resided for over seven years.
Family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later date.
Violet always had a smile on her face and a pep in her step. She was funny and outgoing. She loved life, her family and her friends.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda, son in law Jerry, grandchildren Scott, Christina, Jason, Heidi, and Dustin and her great grandchildren Zack, Wesley, Evelina, Tyler, and Amanda, and her sister Edith and brother Frank, her cousin Linda and best friend Jean.
