Virgil Ausben Wilds

April 22, 1951 - January 29, 2024

Virgil Wilds was born on April 22,1951 in San Antonio, Texas and at age 72 went to be with the Lord on January 29,2024. Virgil was the number one welder for building hauling trailers for many years. Also, he worked for Air Liquide as a truck driver and also did tech repair for the company for 29 years, until his retirement. Virgil was such a giving wonderful person, always available to help family, friends and neighbors when they needed him.

He met Debbie in March 1967, and they started dating when he was 15 and she was 13. They knew how lucky they were to find one another and were married on October 28,1969. Debbie Wilds was very blessed to be married to Virgil for 54 wonderful years.

Much love and wonderful memories are left for his wife, Debbie Wilds; child, Lisa Wilds; brothers, Bill (Hyesuk) Wilds and Johnny Wilds; sisters, Brenda (Tom) Huffine and Sandy Dichari; sisters-in-law, Linda Wilds, Leah (Larry) Hadrava, Sheila (William) Ryals, Renee (Johnny) Ray; aunt, Alice and many nieces and nephews.

Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Violet Wilds; brother, Jimmy Wilds; sister, Karen Wilds; nephews, Kenny Wilds and Jason Crews; Sister in Law, Diane Reilly and Sandra Crews.
