Virginia Constance Baker

Virginia Gordy Baker, 87 a long-time resident of Clay County, FL. Passed away on January 5th, 2020. She was born October 5th, 1932, the daughter of the late Rex Gordy (Estelle) and Constance Gordy. She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Baker Johnson. Virginia is survived by her children Kathy Baker (Fran) and Karen Knight (Tony) and granddaughters Victoria and Ashley as well as great granddaughters and close friends. Virginia grew up in Oahu, Honolulu Hawaii where she attended Punahou college then enlisted into the United States Navy in 1951. She retired from Jax Navy federal credit union and has been enjoying retirement in clay county, FL. Virginia will be laid to rest back home in Honolulu Hawaii at The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
