Walter Albert Dabrowski (lovingly known as “Ski”), 72, of Kingsland, GA passed away February 25, 2021. Walter was born to Walter Luis and Helena Dabrowski in Passaic, NJ on September 20, 1948. Walter has no specific religious denomination but had a strong faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife Juanita and son Walter Albert, Jr.
He is survived by his 4 daughters: Clarrisa Sparks, Mary Gonzalez, Martha Olansen, and Melissa Thornton; Great-Granddaughter Alyssa Sparks (A.K.A. Motor); Grandchildren: Christi, Bubba, Felicia, Jeffery, Travis, Marisa, Ashliann, Samantha, Scott, and Ryan; Great-Grandchildren: Aaliyah, Hannah, Lexi, Brianna, Christopher, Percy D, Will, Blaze, Jeffery Jr., Anastasia, Natalia, Miley, and Miya Juanita Faith—as well as the newest individual to touch Ski's life in ways only their souls will know...Bear.
In his childhood, Walter was an alterboy, Boy Scout, and all-around Rebel Rouser. In his early adulthood, Walter enlisted in the United States Navy and served our country for 20 years as a Career Sailor, with his highest rank obtained being an E5. He was a lifelong mechanic in the United States Navy and Gruman: neighborhood junker. Mostly, he was a loving family man and loyal friend.
Some special family moments would be the birth of his son on May 18, 1969; the birth of his first daughter on April 28, 1971; the birth of his second daughter on August 26, 1973; and the becoming of his blended family on September 20, 1977.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Congregational Holiness Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Long Branch Cemetery.
