Wanda Sue Witte

May 19, 1947 — April 4, 2020

Wanda Sue Witte (72 years old) changed her citizenship from Middleburg, Florida to a beautiful home site in the presence of our savior Jesus Christ on April 4th, 2020. She fought a difficult battle with cancer (Multiple Myeloma) for two and one-half years.

There will be a Celebration of Life to remember Wanda sometime in the next few months when able. There will be more information given to family and friends when available.

Wanda was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on May 19th, 1947 to the late Elbert and Louise Henderson. Wanda graduated from Maumee High School in 1965. She then attended Houghton College in New York followed by Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She ultimately graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in both French and English. She took some graduate level classes at the University of Kalamazoo in Michigan while living in Battle Creek.

Wanda was married to Larry, the love of her life, on December 28th, 1968. They were married for 51 wonderful years.

Wanda very kindly followed her husband Larry around the country moving from one Air Force base to another ultimately settling in Florida with three young children. Wanda was foremost a very involved and loving mother. She was a supportive spouse and spent many years helping to run the family business MEJ Enterprises. She was also an amazing educator impacting the lives of the students she taught in both North Dakota and Florida.

Wanda is survived by her husband Larry; her three children Mark (and Stephanie), Erica (and Scott), and Johanna (and Jerry); her four siblings Dinah, Bill, Barbra, and Stanley; and her eight grandchildren Emma, Benjamin, Alexandria, Isabelle, Abigail, Noah, Jackson, and Sarah.

Wanda was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. They all brought her pure pleasure in life. She left an impact on everyone’s life through her love of Jesus, expressive storytelling, adventures in traveling, and enjoyment in playing games.

Wanda was known to find good in everyone she met, and she always placed others above herself. She was an incredibly strong, intelligent, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. We will miss you dearly Wanda.

All my love,

Larry
