Wanda Jean Wollen

WANDA JEAN WOLLEN, 62, Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on August 10, 2020 due to a tragic accident that 8 days later also took the life of her beloved husband, Ian Derek Wollen. She was born in Leesburg, Florida on June 8, 1958.

Being married to Ian for 14 years was the happiest and most fulfilling time of Wanda’s life. Wanda loved to travel and she enjoyed her arts, crafts and making things for others. She was a very giving and caring person who will be missed so much by all who knew her. Wanda loved being with her family and spending time with her friends from the YMCA and her Church, St. Mary’s Episcopalian, Green Cove Springs.

Wanda is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Susan Griffis, her niece Melissa Schulz, her nephew Jared Griffis (Karley) and her great-nieces and nephew, Stephanie, Abigail, Kailynn and Kolton, all of whom she adored spending time with.  She loved Ian’s family and will be missed by Ian’s daughter Sally, his son Christopher and Ian’s three grandchildren, Edward, Alice and Ben.

We are forever grateful for the close friends Wanda had and for the love and support they gave her through the years, especially Allison and Linda.

She and Ian will always be in our hearts and will be deeply missed.

A private family interment and service will be planned in the future.
