William “Bill” Cherry

January 20, 1932 – February 3, 2021

Bill passed away February 3, 2021 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 89.

He was born to William and Miriam Cherry on January 20, 1932 in Fairfield, Alabama.

Bill married Martha Barnes on January 7, 1956 in Fairfield, Alabama.  She preceded him in death on January 19, 2008. They had two daughters, Sherry and Mary and one son William Paul.  Mary preceded him in death.

He worked transportation management for Trucking Air Freight retiring in 2005.

Bill became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on September 28, 1974 when he joined Jacksonville, FL Lodge #455.  He was a member of Moose Seminole Legion #81.

Bill and his wife Martha came to Moosehaven on September 13, 2005 where he resided for 15 years. 

Private Services will be held with family.

He is survived by son William Paul Cherry of Owasso, OK and daughter Sherry Robinson of Jacksonville, FL.
