William (Bill) Emery, 81, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away peacefully on July 20 with his loving wife by his side.
Bill was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1961 with a degree in Chemistry. He worked in Science and Research and Development in the food industry in Canada and the US.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jacklyn, his sons, John and Andrew (Reign), four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cameron, Sarah and Alison, plus many friends. The family is grateful to this dear extended family for their love and friendship. Thank you to the entire staff at the Mayo Clinic for their compassion and care.
Visitation on Tuesday, July 24, 6-8 PM at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
Memorial service on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 6-8 PM at The Crossing, 114 N. Eatherton Road, Chesterfield, MO 63005. Internment service in St. Martins, NB - date, time and location TBD.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
