William "Preston" Lemon

Preston passed away June 29, 2020 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 73.

He was born to Howard Beecher and Jennie Jaunite Lemon on July 24, 1947 in Alleghany County, Virginia

Preston married Jean Gregory on May 17, 2015 at Moosehaven, Orange Park, Florida.

He worked as a laborer for several construction companies.

Preston became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on March 24, 1998 when he joined Salem, Virginia Lodge #2573. He received his fellowship degree on September 17, 2016 and was a life time member of Moose Legion Blue Ridge, VA #84. Preston sponsored 22 members in his life time.

Preston came to Moosehaven on April 17, 2014 where he resided for 6 years.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Preston will be laid to rest in Roanoke, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife Jean Lemon, a Moosehaven resident, Orange Park, Florida and good friend Don Ridenhour of Roanoke, Virginia.
