William R. Terrell

Mr. William Terrell, aka Uncle Bill, was born August 03,1935 in Mississippi. William quietly departed this life on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in his home of Green Cove Springs, Florida. He attended Surrency High School in Baxley, Georgia and graduated from The School of Hard Knocks. He retired from Clay County Public Works and Bullwinkle’s Trailer Repair.

William enjoyed driving fast, flying his airplane, catching snakes for Ross Allen at the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine and was a Master Welder. William would say “The only thing I can’t weld is a broken heart and the crack of dawn”. William was a man of many talents and was as loyal as they came to his friends and family.

He was a covenanted member of the Ivey Family and will be dearly missed by many. He is survived by his brother and best friend Arthur Ivey, nieces Karen Ivey and Kathy I. Terry, great-nephews Austin Ivey and Kevin J. Harris, great-niece Shelby Padgett and great-great-nieces Rae and Raya Padgett and great-great-nephew Rowan Padgett.

A Celebration of Life for William will be held in the weeks to come.

William lived by the words, “IF YOU CAN DO IT, SO CAN I!”, and he did.
