Wilma Mae Braden, 81, passed away at home on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born to Thelma May Foster and Edwin Paul Foster on June 23, 1942, in Dayton, Kentucky. Wilma graduated from Highlands High School in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Doyle Braden, and her mother and father. She was survived by her brother, Edwin (Nina) Foster; her children, Curtiss (Kimberly) Kicliter, and Sharon (Bill) Francis as well as her five grandchildren: Curtiss (Connie) Kicliter, Brandi (Zack) Smith, Westley Kicliter, Travis Kicliter, and Kaitlin Kicliter; seven great-grandchildren: Christopher Kicliter, Courtney Kicliter, Katelynn Kicliter, Chance Kicliter, Conner Kicliter, Olivia Smith, and Amelia Smith.
Wilma worked and retired from Bank of America as a Loan Processor after many years of service. Before joining the banking industry, she used her skills as a Secretary, an Apartment Manager, and co-owner of a Funeral Home. She was a Christian who was Baptized at the age of 15. Wilma enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, fishing, and watching mysteries on TV. She will be remembered for the love she showed her family and her feisty spirit.
Wilma touched many lives and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 @ 3:00 pm at the family home, 149 Carden Place in St Johns, FL.
