Wilma W. Campen, 90, of Orange Park, FL, passed away May 27, 2018. She was born on January 18, 1928 in Newark, NJ to parents William and Christina (Pert) White. She moved to the local area in 2000 and was a member of Grace Anglican Church in Fleming Island, FL. Wilma graduated from Kearny High School, Kearny, New Jersey as salutatorian receiving the Latin medal for highest academic scholarship in that subject. She married George A. Campen on June 7, 1947. Wilma was an active member of Grace Anglican Church since moving to Orange Park in 2000. Wilma was an avid craftsman who crocheted lap robes for retired navy veterans, prayer shawls, baby blankets and of course her famous hats for the homeless. In her later years she loomed many hundreds of hats that were sold at St. Catherine's annual bazaar with those remaining donated to a Jacksonville homeless shelter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George A. Campen; her parents; and sister, Janet Pickerill.
Survivors include her son, William Campen (Susan); daughter, Sandra Treffinger; grandchildren, Seanna Phelps (Benjamin) and Bryce Ellis (Jared) and great-grandchildren, Ezra Ellis and Beckett Phelps.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 8, 2018 at Grace Anglican Church, 5804 US Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
