Kerry Brent Page Sr., 60, of Middleburg, FL, passed away on Wednesday,
August 12, 2009 after battling cancer for several months. He was born July 29, 1949 in Folkston, Georgia to parents D. L. and Annie Page. While serving in the US Navy, Kerry was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his bravery in Vietnam. He graduated from FSU with a BA in Criminology. He also received an MBA from UNF. After working for the Clay County Sheriff's Office for 12 years as a deputy and detective, Kerry began a 27 year career at Clay Electric where he
eventually rose to the title of District Manager. He enjoyed playing
the guitar, cooking, fishing, camping, and watching Florida State
Football. He was also active with the local Shriners, the Rotary Club,
and a life member of the VFW. He will be dearly missed by his loving
family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father D. L.
Page and is survived by his mother, Annie Page; his wife, Judy D. Page; brother, Larry (Pat) Page and sister, Marcia (Josh) Rouse; children, Brent (Nadia), Brian
(Kristin), Brooke (Howard) Tucker, Brad Page; and two grandchildren,
Leia and Aidan Page. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Swiss Cove Christian Church, 1965 SR 13, Jacksonville, FL 32259 with
Rev. David Landers officiating. Military honors will be given at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Community Hospice of North East FL, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or Swiss Cove Christian
