Linda June (Solina) Laflamme

July 18, 1944 — November 17, 2022

Linda June (Solina) Laflamme, 78 (Middleburg, Florida) passed away November 17, 2022.  Born to John and Agnes (Romblad) Solina on July 18, 1944, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.  Linda went to high school in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she graduated in 1961 from Woonsocket High School. After graduation Linda started working at Amica Insurance Office in Lincoln, Rhode Island. She soon fell in love with her soon to be fiancé’.  However, since he just joined the Navy, they would wait until he finished to get married. Once Linda and her husband were married, they moved to Florida to live and start their family. She had two children (a son, Dean and a daughter, Hally) and she was very involved with their busy athletic lives while they were growing up.  Linda was involved with the North Palm Beach/Palm Beach Garden Jaycee for many years with her husband, she held different titles within the Jaycee organization.  Linda was an avid church goer, and she was a member of the Nativity Lutheran Church in Palm Beach Gardens and sang in the choir, then her and Mike became members at Faith Lutheran in North Palm Beach, and when Linda and her husband moved to Clay County they became members of Advent Lutheran in Orange Park, Florida. Linda was a member of the 50-year medalist group of the Joslin client, in Boston.  This is a group of individuals who are being studied and who have been living with diabetes for more than 50 plus years.

Linda loved crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Linda enjoyed playing Bingo and Rummikub. She liked doing all kinds of crafts especially if she could do them with her grandchildren.  Linda will best be remembered as being a wonderful and dedicated Meme, who would take care of the grandchildren and visit their elementary schools when they were younger.  She also enjoyed staying active and going places with her husband, Mike.

Linda was preceded in death by her father John Solina, sister Joyce (Solina) Richmond, Mother Agnes (Romblad) Solina.

She was survived by her Son Dean Laflamme (Carol Fox) of Tampa, Florida, and her daughter Hally Adams (Danny Adams) of Green Cove Springs, Florida and grandchildren Sydney and Bryce Adams of Green Cove Springs, Florida. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00am at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
