Merlene Blanchard

Merlene Blanchard, age 85, of Green Cove Springs, FL., passed away on October 6, 2022. She was born on February 8, 1937 in Rockland, Maine to the late Robert A. and Regina Almeda (McIntosh) Lloyd. Merlene was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald Lloyd, Albert Duplissa and sister Elaine Duplissa Anderson. Merlene is survived by her loving brother Robert Duplissa and nephews Martin and Cathy Smith, Albert and Rose Smith, niece Shari McConville, great nieces Barbara, Becky, Noelle, Jayna and great nephews Rodrick, Richard, and Tyler.

Merlene was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall of Orange Park since 2015 and she enjoyed the fellowship and meeting  friends. Merlene was a special aunt and a great friend who would do anything for you and would offer to help you in any way. Merlene was a big fan of Elvis and loved to collect his memorabilia, loved to listen to Gospel and Country music. She will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 6:30 PM with Brother Steve Farnham officiating.
