Sharon L. Sanders

Sharon passed away June 2, 2021 in the Moosehaven Health Care Center at the age of 78.

She was born to Lloyd and Margaret Johnson on July 16, 1942 in St. Charles, Illinois.

Sharon married Kenneth Sanders on November 7, 1964. They had two daughters Catherine and Joey.

She worked as an office clerk for Moose International.

Sharon became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on December 2, 1999 when she joined Mooseheart, Illinois Chapter #3001. She received her Academy of Friendship degree on February 15, 2004,

She came to Moosehaven with her husband Ken on February 26, 2015 where she has resided for 6 years. 

She is survived by husband, Ken Sanders of Moosehaven, Orange Park, Florida, daughters, Catherine Ekstrand of Williamsfield, IL.and Joey Anderson of Lancaster, CA. She had 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00am in the Moosehaven Chapel followed by interment in the Moosehaven Mausoleum.
