William "Bill" Theodore Roberts

William (Bill) Theodore Roberts who was born on January 31, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida passed away February 18, 2022 at his home in Middleburg, Florida.

He was a graduate of Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL and worked as an Electronics Technician for the US Postal Service for over 30 years before retirement. 

He enjoyed gardening, fixing and repairing most anything, watching Florida Gator games, morning devotions with his wife of 50 years, and most of all loved spending time with his family. He is leaving us all with many wonderful memories.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Roberts; daughters, Alison Parker (Shelby) and Vanessa Roberts; son, Torey Roberts; sister, Penelope Roberts; grandchildren, Aislinn Parker and Avery Parker; nieces, Cindy Traylor and Joan Alford, and numerous cousins.

Bill was a Papa to all, who will forever be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Theodore Roberts; his mother, Alma Corine Roberts; and his sister, Mary Sue Barineau. 

A private ceremony will be in the coming weeks to honor both his memory and his wishes. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St Jude Children’s hospital, Toys for Tots, or The Humane society.
